Impact of Human Rights Due Diligence regulations on companies based in Switzerland and Liechtenstein

Swiss companies, regardless of their size, are part of global supply chains. Consequently, their activities and operations are influenced not only by Swiss legislation, such as the amendments to the Code of Obligations through the Counterproposal to the Responsible Business Initiative, but they are also directly and indirectly impacted by laws in other countries. One example is the recently adopted German Supply Chains Act (Lieferkettengesetz). It is therefore vital that companies are aware of recent regulatory changes and understand how to prepare to address new requirements.

The UN Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein offers its members and interested companies a webinar series on how national and international Human Rights Due Diligence laws impact companies based and/or operating in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

The focus of the three webinars will be on regulatory requirements, best practices as well as relevant resources and tools to support companies in implementing a human rights due diligence aligned with the evolving legal requirements.
