To become a Member of the UN Global Compact (UNGC) and the Global Compact Network Switzerland (GCNS), one must:
Step One: Commit to the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) by becoming a Participant to the UNGC. Microenterprises who want to commit to the Ten Principles have to contact the Secretariat of the GCNS before applying to the UNGC.
Step Two: UN Global Compact will confirm your UNGC membership. Then you well be welcomed to the GCNS and invited to all our local activities. For more information about the GCNS, please read our Value Proposition and our Articles of Association.
Step Three: You will get an invoice from the UN Global Compact Head Office. Your contribution will be allocated as follows: 45% for the GCNS, 50% for the UNGC and 5% for the fund for emerging local networks. Companies with a turnover below CHF 50'000 and non-business members will get an invoice from the GCNS Secretariat for the local contribution only.
