Realstone Group is the first Swiss real estate actor to join the initiative by the UN Global Compact (UNGC). As a responsible property holder, Realstone Group has made a formal commitment to adopt the Ten Principles of the UNGC in order to advance them within its sphere of influence and competence.

The group is aware of the environmental impact of the property sector on sustainable development and has always been characterised by its involvement in innovative projects. It does so by saving energy, controlling and reducing the CO2 emissions of its real estate portfolio and by promoting good coexistence

Esteban Garcia, founder of Realstone Group, says "We are committed to being a responsible group and to taking concrete measures for the sustainability of our society". Through this commitment, Realstone Group aims to contribute to the implementation of the UNGC's Ten Principles and the sustainable development goals and to promote them within its sphere of action.

Antonio Hautle, Executive Director of the Global Compact Switzerland & Liechtenstein endorses this commitment and says that "we are very pleased about this new membership, the first of a group active in the real estate sector in Switzerland. I hope that this strong signal from Realstone Group will serve to pave the way and inspire other companies in this sector in Switzerland and around the world".
