PRECOP29

The conference is a unique opportunity for business leaders, policymakers, and climate experts to come together and discuss the latest challenges and opportunities in the fight against climate change. The two-day PRECOP 29 conference will be a preparatory event preceding the Azerbaijan Climate Summit COP29 (the 2024 UN Climate Change Conference – COP29) - the world’s largest forum for common climate change policy. The aim of this year’s third edition of PRECOP will be to develop, in an open dialogue, the recommendations of different communities towards the most important topics discussed at the annual climate summits. The agenda of last year’s PRECOP conference included 30 diverse sessions with 150 speakers and 1,500 in-person participants.

In October 2024, during debates conducted among a prestigious group of Polish and EU politicians, economists, representatives of institutions and organisations, we will be addressing the most relevant topics that will be on the agenda of the Baku Climate Summit (COP 29). At the conference, we will hear from leading speakers on a variety of topics, including energy transition and decarbonisation, biodiversity and agriculture, ESG reporting, climate education, sustainable financing, mitigation and adaptation to climate change, sustainable cities and green building, circular economy and waste management.
