À propos de l'événement

Contracting private security providers comes with considerable risk.  As soft law around human rights risk in supply chains crystalizes into hard law obligations through mandatory Human Rights Due Diligence regulation, this webinar will consider how companies that contract private security providers in complex and fragile environments can be confident of rigorous due diligence and oversight that minimizes risk.

Among other questions we’ll consider:

  • What are the main human rights risks associated with contracting private security providers?
  • What are best practices in contracting responsible private security providers?
  • How can existing multi-stakeholder mechanisms, such as the International Code of Conduct for Private Security Service Providers’ Association (ICoCA) help companies future proof their compliance requirements?
