À propos de l'événement
HRIAs as a practical tool for companies of all sizes and sectors to understand their impact and take appropriate measures.
In the context of their human rights due diligence, companies are expected to conduct HRIAs along their value chain, especially where they expect the most salient human rights risks. There are however not yet many good practical examples for companies to learn and understand what needs to be done and how. In this sharing & learning event, we explain the context, discuss the opportunities and challenges encountered and provide information on existing practical tools for assessing impacts as well as defining and taking appropriate measures.
Focusright will moderate the session and present their approach to HRIA. We are very pleased to have as well DER Touristik Suisse (Kuoni) sharing first-hand experience from a HRIAs project conducted in collaboration with the Roundtable Human Rights in Tourism in Thailand, and dormakaba outlining the company-led HRIA planned for Singapore and Malaysia.
This event will be free of charge for all participants.
Human Rights Due Diligence Events Series
This Sharing & Learning is part of the Human Rights Due Diligence events series 2020. The HRDD events series assists members of the GCNSL in answering the questions that arise when establishing and implementing their HRDD policies and processes. The focus of the events series will be tailored to the needs of the participating companies, while preparing companies for existing and potentially upcoming regulations.
