À propos de l'événement
Reaching net-zero by the early 2050s is crucial to limit global warming, but it requires systemic changes that can deepen existing inequalities. To ensure a just transition, we must create opportunities and social protection for affected workers, advocate for supportive policies, and prioritize inclusive, green job creation.
The private sector has a vital role to play by engaging stakeholders, respecting communities and environments, and leveraging available resources like the ILO's Guidelines for a just transition and UN Global Compact's Think Lab on Just Transition.
