VSME vs. GRI: Sustainability Reporting for SMEs | Online Workshop

Sustainability reporting has become a crucial factor in the credibility and competitiveness of companies. For SMEs in particular, the question arises: Which standard is best suited — GRI, VSME or something else? 

In this workshop, our experts from BDO Switzerland will give you a concise, practical overview of the two leading reporting standards. You will learn how the requirements work, how the standards differ, and how to make an informed decision for your company. 

In addition to the basics, the focus is on practical implementation: in two deep-dive breakouts, we will show you helpful tools, online resources, and best practices that will make it easier to get started. Our goal is not only to impart knowledge, but also to provide you with concrete recommendations for action so that you can make your sustainability reporting efficient and future-proof.

Basics (45 min.): Terminology, purpose, main features, reporting options, and processes of GRI & VSME. 

Deepdrive breakouts on GRI and VSME (1 hour each): Practical application, presentation of tools and online resources, best practices from the field. 

Conclusion (15 min. each): Overview and summary

Participants of the UN Global Compact Switzerland & Liechtenstein. Ideal for companies that face the decision of which standard to report to. Individual consultants and consulting firms are not eligible to participate in this workshop.
