What the tool does – and what it does not
The tool replaces hours of desk research. It does not replace the conversation with your stakeholders. A full double materiality assessment means engaging the people affected by your business (employees, suppliers, customers, communities) and we strongly recommend it. But a limited budget should not be the reason to postpone starting. Use the tool to get a well-founded first draft, then invest your time where it adds the most value: testing and sharpening it with the people who know.
