Logo Policy

sample
While the UN Global Compact logo is for use by our initiative only, we encourage participants to use the Endorser "We Support" logo. It can be used, for example, on websites and relevant print materials to communicate your commitment to the initiative and raise awareness of the UN Global Compact.
To use the Endorser logo, you must submit an official request using the online logo request system and you will need to indicate where and how the logo would be used. Every use of the Endorser logo requires prior permission.
To use the authorized Endorser logo, an organization must:
-
Be an active Participant of the UN Global Compact, with an active CoP status.
-
For Non-Businesses, have an active CoE status.
Please note that the following conditions apply:
-
The logo must be placed in such a manner that it is clear from the context to which organization the "We" refers.
-
Any use of the “We Support” Endorser logo must be accompanied by text specifically on your organization's participation in the UN Global Compact. For example, "Since [year], [organization name] has been committed to the UN Global Compact corporate responsibility initiative and its principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.”.
-
The logo may not be sub-licensed to any other entity without the prior written consent of the UN Global Compact.
-
Permission to use the logo lapses if the participant is removed from the list of Participants of the UN Global Compact (de-listed).
-
Any use of the logo without a clear connection to the mission, principles and/or activities of the initiative, will generally not be permitted. This includes promotion, advertising, fundraising or events/conferences with no connection to the UN Global Compact, any use of the logo on social media platforms, and any permanent graphical element of stationery, business cards, or other variably utilized print materials.
When using the Endorser logo with permission, please strictly adhere to the guidelines regarding its reproduction, display and spacing as outlined in the UN Global Compact Brand Guidelines.
