Human Rights Due Diligence Peer Learning & Networking Group

With the HRDD Peer Learning & Networking Group we would like to provide a platform for regular exchange among business and human rights professionals in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Starting in May 2022, we will meet every three months for a virtual (After-) Lunch Videocall with informal discussions on questions, learnings, insights and challenges with peers.

This peer learning group is co-facilitated by focusright and organized in cooperation with the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) and the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). It is part of measure 3 “Promotion of UN Guiding Principles” of the Swiss National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights 2020-2023. For more information, please refer to: www.nap-bhr.admin.ch/napbhr/en/home.html

The group is open for private sector staff working on topics related to business and human rights – from beginners, intermediates and experts.

Participation requirements:

  • Active participation in informal group discussions in a virtual setting

  • Willingness to share own experiences and learn from others

  • Private sector staff with a professional link to business and human rights

  • Being a Participant of the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein, a member of öbu or having attended at least one NAP- Event facilitated by focusright.
