Commitment of UN Global Compact participants

The UN Global Compact encourages businesses to create a culture of integrity across their organisation, from strategy to operations. To join the world’s largest global corporate sustainability initiative, participants embrace the following commitments:

Leadership

Commitment

Effective change begins with your organizations’ leadership. To participate in the UN Global Compact, we require a letter of commitment addressed to the UN Secretary-General and signed by your company's highest-level executive (or equivalent), committing to implement the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and to take action in support of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Submission of Communication on Progress (CoP)

Transparency and accountability matter. All UN Global Compact participants are required to produce and submit an annual Communication on Progress to inform company stakeholders on progress made in implementing the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact.
