
How to join
To participate in the UN Global Compact and the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein, follow the following steps.
Step 1: Organization type
Decide if your organization is a business or non-business. Please check our non-business categories for more information.
Step 2: Letter of commitment & proof of legal registration
Prepare a Letter of Commitment addressed to the UN Secretary-General and signed by the highest level executive or Chairperson of the board (or equivalent) committing to implement the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, act in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and report on their progress annually (CoP).
In addition, please have an official/legal registry document ready to confirm your company's legal status during the online application process.
Step 3: Application
Complete the online application by filling out the Online Application Form.
If you are a Swiss subsidiary of a transnational company that is already a Participant of the UN Global Compact, please identify this in the online application.
The UN Global Compact will confirm your membership. Thereafter, you will be welcomed to the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein and invited to all our local activities.
Step 4: Invoicing
You will receive an invoice from the UN Global Compact Head Office. Your annual contribution fee will be shared between:

Our Local Network Development Fund (LNDF) supporting emerging Local Networks
Only companies with a turnover below US$ 50 million, non-business participants and subsidiaries will receive an invoice from the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein for the local contribution only.
Please note that you will be receiving only one invoice.
