4th Global Compact Dialogue

About the event

The Global Compact Switzerland & Liechtenstein invites you to the 4th Swiss Global Compact Dialogue to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of the UN Global Compact and to support companies in their journey to contributing to responsible business and the sustainable development goals (SDGs). To “Make Global Goals local business”.

Due to the Coronavirus, we have decided to host this event online.

The event will bring together sustainable business professionals from Switzerland and Liechtenstein to share ideas and experiences in their respective journeys to responsible business, as well as their contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

To mark the 20-year anniversary of the UN Global Compact, this year’s ‘virtual’ event welcomes Mr Paul Polman, Co-founder and Chair of IMAGINE and Vice-Chair of the UN Global Compact, as special guest and keynote speaker. Mr Polman will challenge us on the way we think about sustainability as well as share his thoughts on how sustainable business can help shape our shared future.

The event will also include an Open Dialogue discussion on the proposal to join forces, in order to achieve a responsible and sustainable economy with representatives from both the Swiss public and private sectors and a closing contribution by Sanda Ojiambo, CEO of UN Global Compact.

We hope you can join us on what promises to be a unique and memorable event that will help inspire businesses located in Switzerland and Liechtenstein to play their part in achieving the global goals (“make global goals, local business”).

Please send us your remarks and questions before the event to ( and we look forward to interacting with you during the event.
