2022 marks the 10-year anniversary of the Children’s Rights and Business Principles (CRBP). Published in 2012 by the United Nations Global Compact, UNICEF, and Save the Children, these principles guide companies on how to respect and support children’s rights by focusing on actions they can take in the workplace, marketplace, and community.
Content
To understand where Swiss and Liechtenstein companies stand with regards to children’s rights, the Geneva Center for Business and Human Rights (GCBHR) and the Centre for Children's Rights Studies (CIDE) at the University of Geneva have conducted a study on behalf of UNICEF and the UN Global Compact in Switzerland and Liechtenstein on companies’ implementation of children’s rights along their value chains.
We will present the results and the final report that highlight good practices, challenges and opportunities with regards to the respect and promotion of children’s rights by Swiss and Liechtenstein businesses.
