Nature Exchange Group: Leveraging ENCORE to identify your organisation's potential nature-related dependencies

This interactive online workshop introduces participants to ENCORE, a free online tool that helps organizations explore their exposure to nature-related risk and dependencies. 

The workshop aims to be practical, and to give participants the opportunity to get hands-on with ENCORE data. At the end of the webinar, participants will understand how to use ENCORE data to identify potential nature-related dependencies and impacts and how ENCORE might be applied in their own organizational context. Further, the recently updated data in the tool will be addressed and its impact on current ENCORE users. 

This session will introduce ENCORE, guide participants through its navigation and use, and feature a practitioner case study. After this introduction the session will explore the new developments to the ENCORE tool and move into a hands on activity, where participants will be walked through interpreting and analysing ENCORE data.

Target group

Sustainability teams in financial institutions or corporates working on their organisations’ nature assessment 

Prerequisite: Basic familiarity with the ENCORE tool is recommended. 

This online workshop is part of the yearlong sessions of the Nature Exchange Group organized by the UNGCNSL and SSF. There is limited participation also available for others that are interested. 

The event will be in collaboration with Global Canopy. The ENCORE tool is supported by the ENCORE partnership, which consists of Global Canopy, UNEP-WCMC and UNEP-FI.
