About the event
The Pre-evening dialogues offer short inputs on specific topics and provide food for thought. They serve as a GCNSL dialogue platform to exchange ideas, experiences and suggestions.
Anti-corruption and Human Rights: Effective risk management for SMEs
SMEs have limited resources when it comes to addressing compliance risks, and the demands on these resources are only likely to increase with new developments in human rights obligations coming into force in a growing number of markets.
Managing these risks effectively and efficiently is possible - even for SMEs. This session will cover recent legal and regulatory developments in human rights in various countries, including Switzerland. The session will provide an opportunity for SMEs to identify synergies between mitigating the risks of corruption and managing their human rights risks in the context of their business operations in markets abroad. The discussion will be facilitated as an open and interactive exchange of experiences and solutions.
