Defining Your Sustainability Strategy | SME Webinar Series Part 2

About the event
This is the second session of our four-part webinar series for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). SMEs are key drivers of sustainable development in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Yet many face distinct challenges in translating sustainability ambitions into action. This webinar series provides a practical and adaptable framework to support SMEs in embedding sustainability and the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact into their operations.
Acknowledging that sustainability is an ongoing journey - not a one-time fix - this series follows an interactive four-step cycle to help SMEs map their priorities, define a strategy, implement meaningful actions, and report progress effectively. Each session features real-world examples, hands-on tools, and guidance tailored specifically to the SME context.
Webinar 2: Defining your sustainability strategy
Once priorities are identified, it’s time to translate them into a coherent sustainability strategy. This webinar covers how to set realistic goals aligned with the Ten Principles and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), integrate these goals into core business objectives, and build internal alignment. Participants will also explore how to ensure top-level commitment and engage key stakeholders in shaping the strategy.
