About the event
Global population is on the rise and our future is increasingly urban, with 4 billion people living in cities today, on the way to 6.5 billion by 2050. The race for climate is on to keep our world’s temperature within 1.5°C, for a net-zero future, while at the same time providing affordable and better living for all.
Concrete is the second-most consumed product in the world next to water. Working for a net-zero built environment, many partners play an essential role across a building’s entire life cycle. From architects to city mayors, from building material companies to investors and homeowners - everyone has a stake in building more with less, using low-carbon solutions and extending its life through renovation and recycling.
Join us for an interactive tour and discussion through the future of net-zero building at NEST.
