Workshop with GCNSL Stakeholders

The Global Compact Network Switzerland will be conducting a Workshop with GCNSL Stakeholders. This first, rather informal session will be held with stakeholders by invite only.

The last four years since its conception, the local network has undergone a period of building up and consolidation of a functioning network in the service of a responsible and sustainable private sector in Switzerland. In that context, the Global Compact Network Switzerland has entered a public-private partnership with the Swiss Government, resulting in an effective dialogue between the private sector, the government and other organizations on issues that are directly related to the Global Compact’s principles. In 2019, the local Swiss network became the Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein and formulated a Strategy 2019-22.

As a multi-stakeholder initiative, GCNSL aims to engage with a larger community to seek feedback and ideas, find synergies and look for cooperation to help bring forward the Responsible Business Conduct /CSR agenda, based on the Ten UN Global Compact Principles and the Agenda 2030 (Sustainable Development Goals/SDGs).
