Nature Exchange Group Hosted by the Swiss TNFD Consultation Group The Nature Exchange Group started in 2022 as Swiss consultation group for the TNFD Framework, facilitated by the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein and Swiss Sustainable Finance. The TNFD Framework and other nature standards, guidances and matters are discussed among a group of players from the real economy and financial industry, interested in addressing their nature dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities. This platform offers Swiss & Liechtenstein businesses a regular exchange on human rights due diligence topics. Human Rights Due Diligence Exchange Group The Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) Exchange Group, implemented in partnership with focusright , provides a platform for regular exchange among business and human rights professionals in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. We meet about every three months for informal virtual or in-person discussions on questions, learnings, insights and challenges with peers. The group is open for employees of for-profit companies working on topics related to business and human rights – from beginners, intermediates and experts. Sustainable Supply Chain Management Exchange Group The Sustainable Supply Chain Management Exchange Group is a knowledge-sharing platform for Swiss production companies founded in 2019 by öbu - Swiss Business Council for Sustainable Development and the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein. Ambassador Companies 2023/24 term The following participants are Ambassadors of our network for the 2023/24 term: Lonza Group Ltd Kaizen Institute Ltd Become an Ambassador for 2024/25 The role As an Ambassador your company will play a vital role in promoting our network's mission, the Ten Principles and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals in your region and among your stakeholders. Get involved in events, represent the country network and contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive economy in Switzerland, Liechtenstein and beyond. Benefits Direct involvement with the GCNSL Secretariat, giving you the opportunity to play an active role in promoting sustainability and the SDGs outside of your company Some scope to bring forward ideas and inputs, allowing you to share your expertise and contribute to the success of our network Exposure through our website, events, annual report, and social media as your company will be listed as an Ambassador Ambassador Criteria Ambassadors are appointed for a renewable one-year term by the Board of Directors on the proposal of the secretariat following a selection procedure. The following criteria needs to be fulfilled: Participant of the UN Global Compact for at least two years* Has submitted its Communication on Progress (CoP) in time & is up to date with the yearly membership Regularly participates in the programmes / events offered by the UN Global Compact The appointed representative of the Ambassador’s company is highly motivated, speaks fluently English and preferably the main language in the Ambassador’s region Commitment of 3 working days per year (minimum) including participation in a yearly on-boarding workshop Commitment of leading a minimum of one yearly networking event (with the support of the Secretariat) Check the Ambassador Agreement for the full criteria list and for furher information on the role. *Subsidiaries are accepted depending on their level of participation and engagement in our activities.
