About the event

This two-part series "Exploring Nature Data" provides participants with a short insight into new developments in the nature data market. Please make sure to also register here for the first part on 28 October.

In this second session, the Nature Exchange Group member WWF will present the latest updates of the WWF Risk Filter Suite 3.0, highlighting aspects that users of previous versions should pay attention to.

WWF’s Risk Filters 3.0 expands the assessment beyond physical and reputational risks by introducing a regulatory-deficiency dimension, enabling users to examine not only the local condition of nature and pressures on biodiversity, but also whether national legal and governance frameworks are sufficiently robust to manage those risks.

In addition, MSCI will present its nature-related risk datasets for corporates and investors, which are built on the WWF Risk Filter models and support the assessment of nature-related financial risks.

The session will end with a Q&A section where participants are encouraged to ask their questions.

Target audience

  • Professionals working within finance or companies that want to learn more about the WWF Risk Filter updates.

  • Professionals who want to understand which tools or data sets investors and banks may be using to inform their nature strategies.

  • Open to participants of the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein and members of Swiss Sustainable Finance only.

Language

The session will be conducted in English. You can enable Zoom's automatically translated captions in your preferred language.
