As part of its participation in 2022 World Ocean Day, Sallaum Lines has signed the 30x30 petition which calls on world leaders to safeguard at least 30% of the ocean by 2030. This global movement is a step forward towards achieving a healthy climate and a blue planet for all.
The shipping line’s environmental strategies along with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Goals act as the blueprint for achieving a better future. As part of its commitment to sustainability, Sallaum Lines recently became a member of the United Nations Global Compact, which calls businesses to connect strategies with universal principles and take action to advance their goals.
Sallaum Lines decided to join this corporate sustainability initiative in contribution to improving the environmental, labor, human rights, and corruption situations.
